Roberto Colombo
President
Roberto Colombo was born in Vimercate on August 30, 1957. From 1991 to 1994 he was chairman of the association of young entrepreneurs and in 1992 he became vice-chairman of the Association of entrepreneurs of Monza and Brianza.
In 1995 he was appointed Chairman of the Committee of small companies and one year later he became an executive member of the General Confederation of Italian Industry.
In November 1997 he was appointed major of Monza and held this office up to 2002.
In May 2002 he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Interporti Lombardi, in 2004 he became also a member of the Board of Directors of INPS and in 2005 he was appointed member of the board of Poste Italiane. In the same year he became Sole Director of Interporti Lombardi. Since 2006 he has been Chairman of NORDCARGO.
Giorgio Spadi
Chief Executive Officer
Giorgio Spadi was born in Porto San Giorgio on April 14, 1960.
In 1986 he got a degree in civil engineering section transport and in 1987 he was hired as an inspector at the Ministry of Transport. Two years later he got the qualification of Engineer Director and became responsible for the section “rail and underground infrastructures” of USTIF in Milan.
In January 1992 he was hired by Ferrovie Nord Milano Esercizio where he was in charge for trains and railway stations units. From 1992 to 1995 he leaded the working group FS (State railways)-FNM for the implementation of the regional railway service.
In 1997 he was appointed manager and was in charge for the services rail traffic generation and sales of FNME up to 1999, and in the same year he moved to the division “Esercizio Rete” (trains operations) of FNME to become manager of trains operations service.
From 2003 to 2006 he became operations director of rail freight company Ferrovie Nord Cargo. In July 2006 he was appointed chief executive officer by the Board of Directors of NORDCARGO. Since 1986 he has been a member of CIFI (Board of Italian Railway Engineers) and has been a delegate of Milan section a lot of times.
Olaf Müller
Chief Financial Officer
Olaf Müller was born at Rüsselsheim (Germany) in 1969. After an apprenticeship at the forwarding merchant LEP International GmbH, he graduated in International Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences of Worms with a specialization in Controlling, Organization and Production of International Enterprises and a thesis on "German Export Control Systems". From 1997 to 2000 Olaf Müller worked as an Assistant of the Managing Director of SICOR Industriebeteiligungs GmbH (engine building industry), Frankfurt / Main (Hessen / Germany). In 2000 he enters the Mergers and Acquisitions department of DB Schenker Rail Deutschland AG as a Project Manager, and got a solid experience as a leader of important European projects of mergers and acquisitions. In 2003 Olaf Müller collaborated as Project Manager in M&A projects in Switzerland and Italy drawing up a business plan to create and develop a railway undertaking in Italy and managing the subsequent take-over of a start up company, the later DB Schenker Rail Italia s.r.l., for which he acquired the charge of Chief Financial Officer since 2004. Since January 2009 he became Chief Financial Officer of NORDCARGO srl.
